I use Kerax 4600 for my snap bars and my finished bars with this mould measure approx 120mm x 45mm x 10mm and roughly 40-45g in weight. I have also tested this with a soft wax (rapeseed & coconut) but it is up to you to decide whether your wax is capable of managing fine detail, raised lines etc.
We use an acrylic template for this mould to give a shiny finish to your bars. The designs are engraved so there may be fine lines within the design
This mould is made using teeny crystals so you may find some still caught in the mould. This will not cause any harm to your makes and can easily be removed with your fingers
These moulds can be heated to temperatures up to 200 degrees although I personally recommend around 100 degrees. Warming your moulds can help give a smoother, shinier finish to your bars although some pitting can still occur
